We are wrapping up Unit 2 in Language Arts this week and Topic 9 in math next week. We can then enjoy a nice Thanksgiving break before coming back to school to start up new units of study.

Math: We are finishing up Topic 9: division. We will have a review day Monday and test on Tuesday. If your child won't be here next week, they may study ahead and take the test early if they want on Friday instead of taking it after a long break. All of the lessons are up on Pearson and they may take home Friday's lesson tomorrow to be ready. Just have them let me know or email me.
Language Arts: We are in middle of taking the Language Arts CFA (Unit 2 40 question test) and will finish it tomorrow. writing: opinion
Social Studies: Utah counties. We are finishing up our county reports. Ask you child what county they researched and what they learned about it.
Science: rock cycle, and after Thanksgiving: soil
French: documentary texts, Quizlet: rocks and soil, no spelling
Homework musts: read 20 minutes/night, homework packet, recorders
Homework as needed: Pearson, Reflex math, Utah Compose, read aloud, keyboarding, Quizlet
