Thank you so much for the parents who volunteered to help take the students to the Art Truck this week!  We couldn't have done it without you!
Language Arts: We will be reviewing all the concepts we have learned the last 5 weeks and take parts of the second Reading Street CFA throughout the week.  Print-outs won't be going home anymore, so please check on Pearson regularly to see how your child is doing.  I will send emails out after weekly tests for those of you whose students don't master the reading strategy of the week.
Math: We have started Topic 7: 2-digit multiplication.  This is a very short topic and we will have a little test next week Tuesday and then start Topic 8 on Wednesday.  The lessons have already been put up on Pearson for review or practice. 
Science: We are finishing up weather.  There will be an English quiz on science vocabulary next Wednesday.  The words will go home Friday in the blue weather packet.
Homework: spelling, read 20 min/night and Reflex math 15 min. each day.  Math fact fluency is going to make a huge difference in the next 6 topics!
Volunteers: always welcome, but especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:20-9 and 1:30-2:00, anytime on Fridays.
