We successfully completed our second field trip of the year.  Thank you to our volunteers who helped us out at the symphony!
Math: Tomorrow we will be finishing up Topic 3: Place value.  Next week, we will start Topic 4: Adding/regrouping two-digit numbers.  M: 4.1, T: 4.2, W: 4.3, Th: 4.4, F: 4.5.  I already put up the lessons on Pearson if your child needs the extra practice and you always have access to the math book on Pearson (use the one with the blue band on the bottom -2012 version).
Language Arts: We finished unit one, week 5 today.  Some students are really struggling with main idea and details.  We will be reviewing that as a class and in small groups.  Next week is a review week and we will be taking the CFA test in three sections throughout the week.  You can always check your student's progress on Pearson.
Social Studies: Utah
Science: weather and clouds
Homework: Read 20 minutes/night, math page and kidblog assignment (prompt is on my kidblog page).  There is no spelling/vocab this week due to it being a review week.  Practice Reflex Math and keyboarding as needed. 

My blog has all the links you may need (hysong4.blogspot.com).  For Reflex math, the log-in is 4bhysongcsd and the password is their student ID #.  For kidblog, their password is also their student ID #.  Your students should know how to get into Pearson if you lost the sheet I sent home.  If you lost the book report form, it is listed on our class website link under documents.  Sign up for parent/teacher conferences please.
