Thank you to the volunteers who went on the field trip to the symphony with us this week! We heard some wonderful music and learned about some instruments and the sounds they can make on their own and together.
Math fluency: If your child can't do all the math facts within a couple of seconds each, or they still use their fingers, they are behind their peers and should be on Reflex math 5 days a week to catch up! Please make them do it- it will make math so much easier for them as they get older and it's also in French.

Math: we finished up Topic 5 today and will have a review and test on Monday. Please make sure your child reviews on Pearson over the weekend if they struggle with math. We will start Topic 6: multiplying by 1-digit.
Language Arts: Unit 2, week 3, Drawing Conclusions. Test on Tuesday. Writing: paragraph structure
Science: Weather: we are reviewing in English class-a yellow packet will go home on Monday. English vocabulary quiz on Thursday (vocabulary words in packet and use this to review for French test the following week and SAGE test in the spring).
Homework musts: read 20 min/night, spelling, math page, vocabulary (Science and Language Arts)
Homework as needed: Pearson, Reflex math, read aloud, keyboarding etc
