3.6.16

We are in the final stretch of the school year and the weather is warming up.  This is the time of year when students start to get antsy and grades start to slip.  Please encourage your child to keep their grades up and stay on task in class.
Our last Dibels testing (fluency reading) will be on Tuesday, May 3.  Please make sure your child is reading aloud each day to stay fluent.  Our last SRI test (comprehension) will be sometime this month.  The best way to be ready for this is to ask your child comprehension questions about what they are reading.  They should be reading at least 20 minutes each night.  Reading is THE BEST way to increase comprehension and Language test scores.  It also helps with writing.
